Mitzi war meine erste und einzige Katze. Ihr widmete ich dieses Illustrationsprojekt. Das Thema dieser Arbeit war Erinnerung. Die Katze hat nicht immer uns gehört. Sie war schon in der Wohnung des Vormieters, als wir einzogen. Ab diesem Zeitpunkt haben wir ihr dann das Leben zur Hölle gemacht. Für diese Illustrationen arbeitete ich mit den durchscheinenden Seiten eines kleinen Skizzenheftes, was zu interessanten Vor- und Rückseiten führte.
Mitzi was my first and only cat whom I dedicated this illustration project to. “Memories” is its thematic focus. The cat had not always been our cat, it had already been in the flat before we moved in. Mitzi was the previous tenant’s cat. After we had moved in, we made her life hell. For the illustrations I worked with the translucent pages of a little notebook, which leads to interesting front and reverse sides.
